Though it is appalling, the real problem is not Islamophobia: the hard data, the GroupThink ignores

If one listens to the political and media classes there have now been five days of non-stop coverage of Islamophobia which, we are told, is the big issue we must deal with. Of course, it is wrong and must be condemned but here are a few statistics for you to ponder. Let us start with anti-semitic incidents recorded in the wake of the October 7 pogrom.

Because man made global warming is bollocks – the quotes, as a greenie, I recycle every winter

One of the many things that those inside the global warming GroupThink cult are unable to explain is why we should believe 30-50 year forecasts about climate change when the ones made 20 years ago have already been proved to be utterly wrong. It is as if we based our response to covid on the work of Professor Ferguson whose forecasts of hundreds of thousands of deaths from avian bird flu, swine fever, etc had proved so completely bogus. Oh, we did because“experts” inside the GroupThink are always right… but back to global warming.

Shamefully the West and its media cheers on every Russian death and we are horrified when Russians do not!

I can never understand when folks cheer on the untimely death of their fellow man. But day after day we are treated by the Western media to videos of Russian tanks being blown up and articles delighting in how many Russian dead now lie on the fields of Ukraine. I am in no doubt that some of those soldiers dying horrible deaths were bad men who did very bad things. But many, probably the vast majority, were just young men fighting what they were told (wrongly) was a just war and fighting by Geneva rules. Why should we celebrate their deaths?

Tom Winnifrith Postcard: The stench of lies - the war in Ukraine is not in my name

First off, I am not a Putin apologist. That I must stress this, is a sign of the Group Think at play. I walk through the rewriting of history from World War Two to 2014, addressing the catalogue of lies we are fed by the political and media classes. It is not in my name. We must all consider the facts, and stand up to this – just as we should all have done during the Covid Group Think. Those of us who did challenge that Group Think, were told we had blood on our hands. We are now vindicated - it is the Group Think leaders who should be in jail.  Before you slate me on Ukraine, listen to this podcast and consider the facts I present, not the lies you are being told.

Reporting FACTS not allowed if they disprove the Group Think covid narrative – LinkedIn rejects my appeal

Earlier today I reported how, in an Orwellian fashion, LinkedIn had censored a link to THIS ARTICLE reporting hard data on covid spread rates in two states, Texas and California. The only logical explanation for the data is that mask usage makes no real difference to spread rates.

Getting a twitter pile on from the FT and BBC hacks – the Group Think on gender quote sourcing

I am getting a bit of a twitter pile on from hacks at the FT, the BBC, lecturers in media studies  and Gabby “your favourite bisexual PR girl” for challenging their daft Group Think on who you should quote.  It all started with Dave Lee (daveleeFT) of the FT tweeting:

Hero of the day, JD Wetherspoon’s Tim Martin, busts numerous Brexit myths, lambasts the FT, Oxbridge tossers et al

In delivering a slightly disappointing trading statement for JD Wetherspoon (JDW) which just cannot buck massive macro headwinds, its chairman Tim Martin writes from a hospital bed a few words on Brexit. If only wretched Theresa May would listen to the great man who lashes tossers like the staff of the Financial Times, the Oxbridge 1%-ers with their elitist group-think and the CBI and who opines:

The BBC goes full on gay #fakenews after Belfast cake bakers verdict goes against its group think agenda

I have noted in an earlier piece why I am delighted, if a bit surprised, that Ashers bakery in Belfast has won its court case, allowing it not to be forced to bake cakes carrying political messages with which it disagrees, in the case in support of gay marriage.  As the great Peter Tatchell showed, backing the Christian bakers does not make you a bigot just someone who believes in key civil liberties.

The BBC hit job on Justice Kavanaugh continued all day

As I note elsewhere, I celebrate Brett Kavanaugh joining the Supreme Court but I’d rather that Donald Trump had nominated someone who is far more conservative. Naturally the BBC, the state funded British broadcaster and purveyor of fake news, which serves as a media hub for elitist metropolitan liberal group-think, took a rather different tone.

Another academic who views the "Little people" with contempt and disgust - Scott Bellows

The Colombian referendum really has got the liberal elite out in force showing their contempt for the "little people" when they vote the wrong way. In the comfortable groves of academia, a haven for lazy and overpaid folks who engage in an intolerant form of group think, the sparks were flying. We have already met Dr Caroline from Sheffied University who thinks we "should never have referendums on things that really matter" now meet Scott Bellows from Durham. Scott, the Prof, tweeted:
